Senior Pastor Bob Bankhead
Pastor Bob has served as the Senior Pastor at World HOPE since December of 2012. He graduated from Mount Vernon Bible College, Mount Vernon, Ohio in 1985 and has served in ministry in North Carolina since then. Pastor Bob was widowed in October 2021 when his wife, of thirty-seven years, Shari passed after a five-week battle with Covid 19.
One of Pastor Bob’s greatest joys is seeing people grow in their lives with the Lord as they grasp the truths of God’s Word. He loves watching people in their daily walk with the Lord. When not involved in church and ministry activities he enjoys working in the yard and around the house and spending time with family and friends.
Pastor Bob has two adult sons, Nate and his wife Candice and Cameron and his wife Taylor, and four beautiful granddaughters and one handsome grandson.

Michael James, Church Administrator
Michael James, a lifelong resident of North Carolina in the Salisbury area, has been a member at World Hope Worship Center since 1992. He is an Elder at the church and an active member of the Praise and Worship team and the Church Council.
Michael has been the administrator for World Hope Worship Center since 2013. Prior to taking this position Michael had worked in management for 38 years with various corporations concluding the last 22 years of his career as controller for The Carolina Ritchie Corporation. Michael graduated Summa Cum Laude from Catawba College with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
He also has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. Michael enjoys sports (now more watching than participating), fishing, and spending time with his wife Bonnie and their family.

Deborah Paxton, Office Assistant
In 1996, Deborah's family began attending World Hope Worship Center. Over the years she has assisted in many areas here, from Wee Walkers for 9 years, Set & Costume Designs, Missionettes & Royal Rangers Teacher, Wednesday Night Meal Cook, Little Praisers and now World Hope Ladies Group Coordinator.
Deborah has an Associate Degree in Business Management and an Associate Degree in Marketing & Retailing. After many years working jobs in the public relations field, she feels blessed to have the opportunity to begin working here as the Office Assistant at World Hope in 2014.
On her days off, she is working on crafts, sewing, spending time with her mom and grandchildren.
